BASIC FILM TECHNIQUES
Through our after school programs, we have the power to make a real and positive change in the community. This is a favorite program among many of our volunteers, as they have the chance to see their work in action. In the Basic Film Techniques program, the children get hands on experience learning, script writing, camera movement, basic editing, composition, lighting and audio recording for films. PHOTOGRAPHY & PAINTING ESSENTIALS
Through our Photography & Painting programs, we strive to establish a positive feeling of change in the community, while encouraging creativity. This visual art gives us an opportunity to see how our youth view the world. With the help of our amazing volunteers, this program has truly taken off and is now shaping up to be one of the best in the city. In this program the children learn, lighting composition, and the basics of photography. Introductory painting skills are acquired and the basics of sketching are taught as well. DANCE & MUSIC
Dance & Music are two of our more popular programs where our youth really have a blast! We teach introductory ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop dance classes as well as offer musical training for, piano, vocal coaching and music theory. One of the benefits of being a non profit is that we are able to help the economically challenged by offering our programs at no cost to them.
